Final Holes Remain on BUH Foundation's Virtual Golf Tournament
June 10th 2020
North Battleford, SK – Battlefords Union Hospital (BUH) Foundation is in the final week of the 2020 Virtual Wayne Pruden Memorial Golf Tournament (WPMGT). There are only six holes remaining to be “golfed” together in the name of healthcare. To complete each hole, $3,000 is raised through sponsorship, golfer registration donations and other donations. Proceeds will help to purchase new, up-to-date medical equipment for BUH.
“This has been a great virtual Tournament and we are making the final push to complete the remaining holes. We have very loyal sponsors and golfers, many of whom have been with us since the beginning. They understand the importance of enriched healthcare for their community and show it by giving back,” shares Claudette McGuire, BUH Foundation Executive Director, “if you haven’t already, we invite you to join us and help finish up the course and raise enough funds to golf all 18 holes and purchase new medical equipment for BUH.”
The 2020 Virtual WPMGT wraps up on Friday, June 12th. There are six holes, or $18,000 remaining to be raised of the $54,000 goal. To join the 2020 Virtual WPMGT go to buhfoundation.com or call BUH Foundation office at 306-446-6652. Thank you to Master Sponsor, Innovation Credit Union for kicking off the tournament by sponsoring the first two holes.
Everyone is encouraged to follow along with the Virtual WPMGT on BUH Foundation’s website, buhfoundation.com, where the progress on the virtual course is updated, sponsors are recognized and participation opportunities are available. Further participation opportunities can be joined via BUH Foundation’s Facebook event page, Wayne Pruden Memorial Golf Tournament 2020.

BUH Foundation has a WPMGT Golfer & Volunteer Pledge, as the dedicated and loyal participants have seen it all and golfed through anything and everything over the years. This pledge has been updated to mark the 2020 Tournament, because we know the Pruden golf family is there no matter what.
WPMGT Golfer &
Volunteer Pledge
