How Do I Give?
Contributions to the Foundation in support of BUH and Battlefords Region Home Care can be made in many forms:
- Donations from individuals and community organizations can be made in many ways. You may give as a one time gift or a memorial, through the Monthly Giving Club, A Brighter Tomorrow, or as a part of the Employee Giving Program.
- Supporting fundraising events in the form of sponsorship, donations, and participation.
- Corporate support from our friends in the business community who recognize the importance of good healthcare to a vibrant community.
- Leave a Legacy - gifts that are arranged now but that will take effect in the future.
- Volunteering your time and expertise to help ensure continuing quality care for your loved ones.

Donate your Beverage Conatainers at SARCAN & Donate a Vehicle through Donate a Car Canada
BUH Foundation has signed up for "Drop & Donate" through SARCAN Recycling! You can donate your deposit refunds to BUH Foundation and help to enrich healthcare, simply & easily. Use the phrase "buhf" the next time you are at SARCAN and your deposit refunds will be directed to the Foundation and to support your community.
Donate a Car Canada accepts vehicle donations for BUH Foundation! Free towing is provided in most areas across Canada, or you can drop off your vehicle to maximze your donation. When you donate your car, truck, RV, boat or motorcycle to BUH Foundation through Donate a Car Canada, it will either be recycled or sold at auction (depending on its condition, age and location). Donate a Car Canada will look after all the details to make it easy for BUH Foundation to benefit. After your vehicle donation is complete, our charity will send you a tax receipt and will put your gift to good use. Please click here to donate a vehicle.
Why Should I Give?
All donations made to Battlefords Union Hospital Foundation stay at Battlefords Union Hospital and within Battlefords Region Home Care, as directed. This means that new medical equipment is able to be purchased or existing pieces are upgraded. It means increased opportunities to recruit and retain quaility medical staff with quality medical equipment. It means medical teams can access in-service education programs and sessions, giving them the opportunity to stay abreast of current treatment techniques, sometimes within our own facility, saving travel and meal expenses. It means that patients are able to stay in the comfort of their own home, as they desire, and still receive quality patient care. It means that modern, efficient diagnosis and treatment is available when you and your family and friends need it most.
Without the ongoing philanthropic support of individuals, businesses and community organizations, many purchases and funding would not be possible. That is why you should give.
