2014/15 Monthly Lottery

BUH FOUNDATION MONTHLY LOTTERY TICKET GOES ON SALE!!!

North Battleford, SK - February 11, 2014 – Battlefords Union Hospital (BUH) Foundation Monthly Lottery tickets will be available starting Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at BUH Foundation Office.

The Lottery will continue with the same format that has been successful for the Foundation for the past number of years:  tickets will remain at $104.00 each, with only 1200 being sold.   There will be a total of 158 draws, awarding $50,000.00 in cash prizes over a period of 12 months.

Proceeds of the 2014-2015 Monthly Lottery have been allocated towards the purchase of a new $550,000 digital fluoroscopy unit that is urgently needed for the Medical Imaging Department at BUH. This unit obtains real time imaging of a patient, allowing the Radiologist to observe organs and functional imaging of the body.  This helps to provide an accurate diagnosis and possible life saving interventions for you, your family and your loved ones.

In order to be eligible for the $1,000.00 Previous Purchaser draw being made Friday, April 4, 2014 qualifying ticket buyers must purchase their tickets by 5:00 pm Friday, March 28, 2014.  Early Bird ticket purchasers who buy their tickets prior to 5:00 pm Friday, April 4, 2014 will be eligible for an additional chance at $1,000.00 to be drawn Friday, April 11, 2014. Following these two preliminary draws, monthly draws will take place on the last Friday of every month, beginning April 25^th with the exception of December, which will be drawn on the 19^th.  Thirteen prizes totaling $4,000.00 will be awarded every month, including the top prize of $1,000.00, second prize of $600.00, third prize of $400.00 and ten additional prizes of $200.00 each.
