Festival of Trees "Breakfast with Santa"

Hey Kids!  Come and Have Breakfast with Santa and

be full of Christmas Excitement!! 

Battlefords Union Hospital (BUH) Foundation’s Festival of Trees is approaching very quickly with events from Friday, November 29 to Sunday, December 1, 2013, all being held in the Dekker Centre for the Performing Arts. 

“Sunday, December 1^st is Breakfast & Pictures with Santa and the morning will start with the opportunity to have breakfast with the jolly old man himself from 9:00am – 9:30am. Kids are going to love the waffle breakfast we have planned, available for the first 300 admissions through the door and served until 12 noon, as it will be like being in Candy Land at the waffle bar topping station with some unique, yummy items to choose from.  There will be a host of activities including the Balloon Guy, Christmas stories read by Mrs Claus and face painting.  Through the services of our official “Pictures with Santa” photographer, Bannerman’s Photo Studio, you will have the opportunity for the traditional and time honoured picture with Santa.” noted Jay Crockett, who along with his wife Krista, is chairing the Sunday event. 

During the day guests will be able to stroll through the beautiful Dekker Centre foyer to view and bid on the artfully decorated wreaths, swags and trees.  The Decorator Chairs Koreen Lawrence and Janelle Cox, have some unique plans with the displays of silent auction items being vignettes, or like looking through the store glass windows at FAO Schwarz Toy Store, renowned for its Christmas displays.  Their plan is to make the Dekker Centre into a winter wonderland and the Wish Book all at the same time.

The admission price to this event is $2.00, and there will be some exciting specific child related “Oh my gosh I can’t believe you got me this” gifts available to for kids to enter to win with their admission ticket.  We hope everyone can be there to experience the Christmas excitement.
