Gold Eagle Casino/SIGA once again Diamond sponsors of Festival of Trees

For the fourth year in a row, the Gold Eagle Casino/Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority (SIGA) are the Diamond Sponsors of the 17th annual Festival of Trees, one of the major fundraisers of Battlefords Union Hospital Foundation (BUHF). The festival kicks off the Christmas season, takes place this year from Friday Nov. 30 through Sunday, Dec. 2 at the Gold Ridge Centre. Here, Gold Eagle Casino General Manager Kelly Atcheynum (centre) presents the $10,000 cheque for Diamond sponsorship to BUHF Executive Director Claudette McGuire (left) and BUHF Board Chair Jerry Wintonyk (right).

“The hospital in the Battlefords is very important to us,” As per Atcheynum , adding that donating to the BUHF fits in with the Gold Eagle Casino/SIGA’s desire to be a good corporate citizen.

“Virtually everybody in the community uses the hospital,” Atcheynum said.

He included the Gold Eagle Casino/SIGA plans to continue as the Diamond sponsor for the Festival of Trees for as long as the Festival of Trees continues to be held in the community.
