SaskEnergy continues their support of Battlefords Union Hospital (BUH) Foundation’s Festival of Trees Carnival & Bazaar Day as a Silver Sponsor for “The North Pole”. 

“Their contribution ensures whimsically decorated School Trees remain a part of the Festival of Trees” noted Claudette McGuire, Executive Director of BUH Foundation, adding “SaskEnergy has long been a strong community supporter and we are very pleased to be working with them again.  Their generous contribution will assist greatly in our fundraising efforts for a new defibrillator for the Emergency Room and a new ECG machine for the Lab.”

Festival of Tree’s Carnival & Bazaar Day will take place from 10am to 5pm on Sunday, December 2 at the Gold Ridge Centre in North Battleford.  There are numerous children’s activities including face painting and a performance by Twink-elle the Clown (12:00pm – 3:00pm) pictures with Santa (11:00am – 1:00pm), horse drawn wagon rides, making tree decorations with the North Stars, raffle prizes, and shopping in Santa’s Gift Shop as well as live entertainment for all to enjoy.  It is a chance to view and bid on the beautifully decorated trees, wreaths, centerpieces and other seasonal items.  Lunch and snacks will be available at Santa’s Sweet Shoppe the entire day.  Please check www.buhfoundation.com for complete details of the day’s events.
