BUH Foundation’s Festival of Trees Carnival & Bazaar
Battlefords Union Hospital (BUH) Foundation’s Festival of Trees is approaching incredibly fast with events from Friday, November 30 to Sunday, December 2, 2012.
The Festival of Trees hosts many events; one of them is Carnival & Bazaar being held on Sunday at the Gold Ridge Centre,
There are a variety of children’s activities including face painting, horse drawn wagon rides, pictures with Santa, and the opportunity to put your creativity to work with your favourite North Star hockey player making decorations for a tree that will be donated to the Empty Stocking Fund. There is also a chance to decorate your own cookies and win a prize in contests that will be happening throughout the day. Lunch and snacks will be available all day at Santa’s Sweet Shoppe.
In addition, Carnival & Bazaar is an occasion to view and bid on the beautifully designed trees, wreaths and numerous seasonal items. If you head to the North Pole, you will have a chance to view and bid on the delightful trees decorated by students from the community. There will also be a chance to win an item from the Raffle Table.
Your generosity means your Foundation can enrich health care in BUH's Emergency Room and Laboratory with the purchase of critical medical equipment from funds raised from the 2012 Festival of Trees.
BUH Foundation’s Board of Directors are very grateful for all the support and contributions from local businesses and individuals ensuring the success of the 2012 Festival of Trees.
