“Masquerade: An Elegant Illusion” Night
Battlefords Union Hospital (BUH) Foundation’s Festival of Trees is in its 17th year and again promises to be an entertaining, exciting three days from Friday, November 30th to Sunday, December 2nd.
The semi-formal “Masquerade: An Elegant Illusion” Gala Evening on Saturday, December 1st seats 300 guests in the beautifully decorated Gold Ridge Centre in
cheesecake. This gourmet meal will be prepared by Gold Eagle Casino’s Executive Chef Jesse Bosman and served by Gold Ridge Centre’s staff.
Live entertainment will be the infamous Saskatoon Soap’s Improv Comedy Co. The Soaps have been performing live, improvised comedy since 1984. It's fast-moving, funny and entertainment for all ages. Cast includes media personalities, school teachers, professional actors and students of comedy and guarantees a fun-filled and entertaining evening.
Fundraising efforts for the evening will be supported through a live auction, as well as the ongoing bidding for the seasonally decorated trees, outdoor displays and numerous uniquely decorated items. Co-Chairs of Gala Evening Corinne Bernier-Delainey, Diane Dunsmore and Celine Comfort, are very excited about the auction packages available, which includes, among a number of packages, a Frontiers North Adventure Churchill Polar Bear Tour (value of $7000), a kayak camping package on the

Tickets for the “Masquerade…An Elegant Illusion” Gala Evening are $75.00 per person or $525.00 for a Corporate Table of eight. A charitable tax receipt for a portion of each ticket purchase as well as live auction packages will be issued, where applicable. Masks with handles will be provided for each guest, should they wish to use them. The community support and generosity means your Foundation can enrich health care in BUH's Emergency Room and Laboratory with the purchase of critical medical equipment from funds raised from the 2012 Festival of Trees.
