North Battleford Lion’s Club Supports The Battlefords by Giving

Battlefords Union Hospital (BUH) Foundation was honoured to receive a large donation from the North Battleford Lion’s Club towards BUH Foundation’s capital campaign, “Advanced O.R. Technology: Mending…Healing…Healthy” to purchase anesthetic machines for the operating room.  BUH has four operating room theaters and BUH Foundation will be replacing the current 15 year old anesthetic machines within three of the four theaters.  “This coudn’t have come at a better time and we are grateful to the community and the North Battleford Lion’s Club for supporting this initiative.  There are approximately 4500 surgeries for pediatric and adult patients and we want to give them the very best of care…which includes top notch medical equipment” noted Chris Etcheverry, Director of Acute Care Services, BUH.
