NB & Battleford Agencies Give Again to BUH Foundation

North Battleford, SK – Battlefords Union Hospital (BUH) Foundation Inc. was honoured to once again be a recipient of North Battleford & Battleford Agencies charitable giving and received $2,500 to enrich healthcare in The Battlefords.
As recipients of Saskatchewan Mutual Insurance Company’s (SMI) charitable giving program, North Battleford & Battleford Agencies selected two charitable organizations to which to contribute a total of $5,000.00. In order to qualify for SMI’s charitable giving program, North Battleford & Battleford Agencies had to meet specific performance requirements within their organization. They were successful at this and were among the top 10 SMI brokers within, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba who received this award.
“Congratulations to North Battleford & Battleford Agencies on achieving this success. You are to be commended for your efforts and we thank you for choosing BUH Foundation as a recipient of your donation. Healthcare is always changing and these funds will help to improve services at BUH,” shares Mike Zaychkowsky, BUH Foundation Board of Directors Chairperson.
BUH Foundation will direct the funds towards a new OR Capital Campaign to purchase OR lights with cameras for two of the four OR theatres, as well as a new cataract unit for the department. Complete campaign details will be released later this summer.
