“Star” Clay Lazar

Occupation: Firefighter/Paramedic 

Dance Experience: Mainly weddings…and a few questionable moves in his 20s! 

Clay’s been serving our community for over 15 years, and his dedication to healthcare shines through his passion for this event. He understands firsthand the challenges faced by hospital staff, especially in the ER, and wants to ensure they have the tools they need in critical situations. Clay’s bringing heart, humor, and a whole lot of courage to the dance floor, ready to make you smile, laugh, and maybe even question his life choices!

“Professional” Jade Menssa 

Occupation: Teacher 

Dance Experience: A lifetime of competitive dancing at The Dance Connection, covering Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Tap, and HipHop. She’s also shared her love of dance by teaching young dancers! 

Jade’s deep connection to BUH started at birth (literally!) and continues through the care her family has received there over the years. Now she’s thrilled to give back, combining her passion for dance with her community spirit. Jade’s excited to bring Broadway-worthy performances to Battlefords, even if Clay’s "dance experience" doesn’t quite match hers.
