2009 - 2010
Proceeds from the 2009 Festival of Trees have been allocated towards the purchase of an Innovative Operating Room (OR) Suite. This suite is designed to augment the complex equipment used in the OR. It creates an organized, effective, and safe operating room allowing the Surgical Team ease of movement and complete focus on patient care during complicated surgical procedures. We all benefit from quality healthcare and to family and friends this means modern, efficient treatment close to home.
2008 - 2009
Proceeds from the 2008 Festival of Trees will be used to purchase medical equipment for the Lab at BUH. These items are required to support the operation of the Cobas 6000 blood analyzer purchased in 2007. Specific items include a Thermo Centrifuge, Plasma Thawer, Platelet Incubator, Mobile Instrument Table and Temperature Surveillance Panel.
2007 - 2008
Proceeds from the 2007 Festival of Trees will be used to purchase medical equipment for 3rd North at BUH. Items include a compact suction unit, low air loss mattress system, a wound vacuum system and a vital signs monitor with stand.
2006 - 2007
Proceeds from this year's Festival of Trees will be allocated to the Breast Health Fund which will assist in purchasing new mammography equipment for BUH.

Two Cardiac Monitors
These Cardiac Monitors offer a combination of essential circulatory and respiratory measurements. These measurements include E.C.G. (heart tracing), continual blood pressure and blood oxygen saturation, which assesses the respiratory status. These new monitors will also provide enhanced monitoring capabilities ensuring quality patient assessment, safety and care with audio and visual alarms.
2000 - 2001
Bi-Pap Machine
A Bipap machine is a life support device without an invasive tube inserted down the throat which aids in breathing. We are sure this piece of equipment will greatly enhance patient care at Battlefords Union Hospital.
1999 - 2000
Pulmonary Function Machine
The machine measures lung volume and breathing mechanics to determine if any lung-related diseases such as asthma, emphysema or bronchitis are present. Previously, patients had to travel to Saskatoon for this simple test.
