The first draw in the BUH lottery took place Sept 12th. When the winners Orest and Bernadette Demyon were contacted they commented that they have supported the lottery for twenty years. As well Orest was emplyed by the BUH of over 46 years in the maintenance department.
The $100,000 Lottery is over 65% sold out and the 50/50 Enhancement winnings are over $25,000 and climbing. Tickets are $40.00 each or three for $100.00, with only 12,000 available. All winners names will be published in the Battlefords News-Optimist, announced on CJNB/Q98/The Rock and CJNS radio stations as well as posted on BUH Foundation’s website at www.buhfoundation.com.
The 50/50 Enhancements are available for one for $10.00 or three for $25.00 and can only be purchased in conjunction with the $100,000.00 Cash Lottery ticket(s).
The $100,000 Cash Lottery is BUH Foundation’s largest fundraiser and proceeds from this year’s Lottery will provide funding towards the purchase of Med Dispense Unit, Lift Bath Trolley as well as a Specialized Air Transfer System.
